The Mosquito Magnet™ mimics a large mammal by
emitting a plume of carbon dioxide, heat and moisture, which when combined
with octenol, is
irresistible to mosquitoes, no-see-ums, biting midges, black flies, and
sandflies. The Mosquito Magnet™ makes carbon dioxide by catalytically
converting propane (using platinum beads) from a standard, 20-lb tank. No
costly, hard to find independent source of carbon dioxide is needed. The
Mosquito Magnet™ generates its own electricity, eliminating the need for
hazardous, unsightly power cords. Because there are no power cords, the
Mosquito Magnet™ can be located near the mosquito breeding areas, trapping
the mosquitoes at their source before they get to you. The mosquitoes are
drawn away from you and to the Mosquito Magnet™.

| Self-powered by a 20-lb propane tank, the patented counterflow technology of the Mosquito Magnet quietly vacuums the insects into a net where they dehydrate and die. No electric killing grid, which may be hazardous to children and pets, is used. | |

The Mosquito Magnet™ operates 24 hours a day in order to capture day-biting, as well as night-biting blood-seeking insects. Biting insects such as the Aedes aegypti (carrier of Dengue Fever), Aedes Japonicus (carrier of the West Nile Virus), salt marsh mosquitoes, no-see-ums, midges, and sand flies are all active biters during the daylight hours. All operating components are located in the Power Pack. In the remote event of a problem, the power pack can be returned to the factory for repair or replacement. The ability to easily replace parts after the stated life expectancy further extends the life of the Mosquito Magnet. The Mosquito Magnet™ is environmentally friendly, uses no pesticides, and releases no harmful substances. | Mosquito Magnet™ Pro |
